Sana's real name is Shazia Nawaz. She was born in a very poor family who then lived in a small house at Nawab Pur Road, Multan. Her father, Malik Mohammad Nawaz Arain was a labor worker. She has a brother Nasir and three sisters; Farzana, Shabana, and Shugufta. Sana is the youngest amongst her siblings. She did her early education at Jinnah Foundation School Multan.
Sana is considered to be the wise owl of the film industry. A very diplomatic and smart woman. Sana has worked her way up in the film industry. Coming from a extremely poor family Sana initially took on roles that she should not have, just for the sake of money however he pretty looks gained her recognition and she soon became a Lux girl which was quite a accomplishment for someone new to the industry. Her commercial, which was shot in Egypt with the Pyramids of Giza as a backdrop, revealed her true beauty and then there was no stopping Sana.
Sana did ramp shows, photoshoots, TV dramas and countless films which included some very good movies such as Yeh Dil Aap Ka Hua. Her Long Affair with Javaid Shiekh also gained her lots of publicity but she didn't choose to dump Mr Shiekh (Good Riddance) and married her fellow Co-Actor.
Sana's other movies, "Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana" and "Kyun Tumse Itna Pyar Hai" (both 2005 releases) and "Kaafila" (2006) consolidated her top position in the filmdom. Even her co-stars were in awe of her and loves to watch her perform on the sets, bubbly, joyous, enthusiastic and experimenting. Apart from movies, the vivacious Sana loves sports, swimming, squash and riding. |
